Fieldstone Retaining Wall Build

This dry-stacked fieldstone wall steps down the front yard along the driveway, tying into the home’s entry steps and framing new planting beds on both sides. The stone is laid without mortar in a traditional New England style, with capstones along the top edge and built-in stone steps partway down the run. The photos show the finished wall from a few angles before the yard around it was regraded and planted.
